Asociatia de Ecoturism "Opaitul Rodnei"

The eco-tourism association Opaitul Rodnei is a nongovernmental, non-profit association with no political goal, which started off in the autumn of 2004 and which’s goal is to focus on ecological study and evaluation, preserve and evaluate the natural patrimonial, train physically, intellectually and morally the members, in the purpose of reaching the goals that were proposed.

The objectives of the association are materialised in the next activities:

- To make and maintain permanent contracts with those who have similar interests;
- To accord a special attention to the natural reservation, to the rare speeches of plants and animals;

To look upon the application of the law which concerns the protection of the environment and alerting the law organs in case of any violations;
To stimulate the interest and pre occupation of the members towards natures acknowledgement activities directed in this way;
To guide the members and people who want to initiate in the area of work of our association;
To make, edit and defuse periodic/ occasional publications of materials; written, audio, video documents; tourist maps of clusters from our country;
To organise and see through different activities that can contribute, from a financial point of view, to our well being; so we can have the proper conditions to for fill the objectives proposed, in the limit of the legislation that presently applies.
To train members (and other people) so they can practice tourism, on an ecological and cultural scale, in a civil way.
To help in softening members and people so they can respect the true values of the natural patrimonial, looking at flora, fauna and natural riches.
To organise camps, competitions, activities and exchange of experience between different tourist organisations from our country and abroad, so that we may keep in touch and add to our knowledge the experiences of our friends.
To guide the members and people who want to initiate in the area of work of our association;
To gain our member’s knowledge in this subject and develop their passion for tourism; also in the health department we want to train our members in first aide skills and life saving techniques if ever needed.
To attract new members from personal acquaintances to organised activities that gather people.
To make propaganda for the associations activities through mass media (news, radio, TV).
To make our members participate at different courses on diverse subjects organised by federations, organisations and associations of our profile.
